Cookie Policy
Effective Date: June 2, 2026 Last Updated: June 2, 2026
1. What this Policy is about
This Cookie Policy explains how MarketingIQ uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy.
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website stores on your browser when you visit. Cookies allow the website to remember things about your visit — like keeping you signed in or remembering your language preference.
2. The cookies we use
MarketingIQ uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use third-party analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or social media tracking pixels by default.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
sb-access-token | Authentication. Keeps you signed in. Set by Supabase, our authentication provider. | Session (cleared on sign out) |
sb-refresh-token | Authentication. Used to renew your session without making you sign in again. | 30 days |
active_workspace_id | Remembers which workspace you most recently selected. | 1 year |
lang | Remembers your preferred language (English or French). | 1 year |
cookie_consent | Records that you have acknowledged this Cookie Policy. | 1 year |
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Disabling them through your browser will prevent you from signing in or using the Service.
3. Cookies we do not use
We do not use:
- Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other third-party analytics service.
- Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Twitter Pixel, or any other advertising tracker.
- Hotjar, FullStory, or any other session-replay or heatmap tool.
- Any third-party social media share buttons that track you across sites.
If we add any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and seek your consent before setting them, in accordance with Law 25.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies in their settings. Visit your browser's help page:
- Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer
- Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/mac
- Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/manage-cookies-in-microsoft-edge
Note: deleting our strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and reset your language and workspace preferences.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, MarketingIQ does not currently respond to them. However, since we do not use any tracking technologies in the first place, the practical effect is the same.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. If we add any non-essential cookies, we will give you advance notice and seek your consent.
